Opening ceremony of Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2022

On the morning of April 16, at the Provincial Cultural Center, the Department
of Information and Communications held the opening ceremony of Vietnam Book and
Reading Culture Day 2022. Attending the ceremony, there were Mr. Nguyen Minh -
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of departments,
agencies and youth union members and students in the city.
It is known that on
November 4, 2021, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 1862/QD-TTg on
organizing Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day. Accordingly, the decision was
made to organize the Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day annually on April 21
across the country.
The activity has
contributed to affirm the position, role and importance of books; forming the reading
habits in families, schools, agencies and organizations; building and
developing the reading movement. Especially for young people, teenagers,
students towards building a learning society, a beauty in social life.
