Over 110,000 people received COVID-19 support

data from the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, the local
authorities in the province have completed the payment to 113,593 policy
beneficiaries under difficulties by the COVID-19 pandemic with a total amount
of 116,013,500,000 VND.
These are
people in the target group: People with meritorious services to the revolution
and relatives of people with meritorious services to the revolution; social
protection beneficiaries enjoying monthly preferential allowances; poor and
near-poor households of districts, towns, cities and the Center for general social
protection.

Thuan, the implementation of the Government's Resolution No. 42/NQ-CP dated 09/4/2020
on measures to support people facing difficulties due to the COVID-19 pandemic has
been conducted seriously and thoroughly by the provincial authorities. During
the payment process, the localities have regularly reviewed and checked to
promptly detect cases of overlapping or lacking ... to ensure that the support
money reaches the right beneficiaries. The list of beneficiarie, the subjects
who are in the scope of recovery of support money (due to coincidence) are
posted publicly and transparently.
Up to
now, the localities have not received any complaint or denunciation from people
about the implementation and payment of support.
After
completion of payment to the policy beneficiaries group affected by COVID-19
pandemic, the localities are urgently implementing the necessary procedures to
pay the support to employees who have stopped working, lost jobs, individual
business households with pre-tax revenue of less than 100 million VND/year
according to the Resolution 42/NQ-CP.
Unlike
the policy beneficiaries group, this group does not have a list available,
especially the freelance workers (workers who do not have labor contracts).
Therefore, after receiving the dossiers and applications for support, the localities
will carry out the verification and scrutiny carefully to ensure the support
money reaches the workers in accordance with regulations./.
