Over 96 billion VND is allocated for investing the development program for the primary healthcare network in disadvantaged regions

According to Resolution No. 20/NQ-HĐND dated May 15, 2024, by the Provincial People's
Council, Binh Thuan allocates the central government budget funds (foreign
capital) for implementing the National Target Program for New Rural Development
for 2023 and 2024 with over 96.2 billion VND to invest in the development program
for the primary healthcare network in disadvantaged regions in 2024.
Previously,
according to Resolution No. 25/NQ-HĐND dated July 12, 2023, by the Provincial
People's Council, regarding the investment capital plan from the central
government budget for the period 2021 - 2025 for implementing the National
Target Program for New Rural Development in the province, the development program
for the primary healthcare network in disadvantaged regions in Binh Thuan
Province was allocated a mid-term public investment budget of 106.906 billion
VND (foreign capital) from the central government for the 2021-2025 period.
The total foreign
capital allocation from the central government for implementing the development
program for the primary healthcare network in disadvantaged regions of Binh Thuan
Province is 96.215 billion VND. This amount includes 53.453 billion VND
allocated for 2023 under Decision No. 1221/QĐ-TTg dated October 22, 2023, by
the Prime Minister, and 42.762 billion VND allocated for 2024 under Decision
No. 1603/QĐ-TTg dated December 11, 2023, by the Prime Minister.
The issuance of
Resolution No. 20/NQ-HĐND dated May 15, 2024, by the Provincial People's
Council will serve as the basis for allocating central government budget funds
(foreign capital) for implementing the development program for the primary
healthcare network in disadvantaged regions, as part of the National Target
Program for New Rural Development in 2024.
