Passenger transportation on Phan Thiet – Phu Quy route: Not transporting guests from epidemic affected regions and localities according to the notice of health authorities

to the Department of Transport, from 11/5/2021, the operation of
inter-provincial fixed-route passenger vehicles, passenger vehicles by contract,
tourist transport vehicles and taxis from Binh Thuan to provinces and cities:
Hanoi, Da Nang, Bac Ninh, Vinh Phuc, Bac Giang, Ha Nam, Hung Yen and vice versa
will be temporarily suspended.
All buses
transporting passengers on fixed routes within the province, vehicles
transporting passengers on interprovincial routes from bus stations in Binh
Thuan province to other provinces and cities, passenger transport vehicles by
contract, passenger transport vehicles, tourists transferring vehicles and
taxis are only allowed to carry 50% of the number of passengers according to
the number of seats stated in the Certificate of technical safety and
environmental protection of the vehicle; Arranging passengers to sit at the
prescribed distance. It is not allowed to transport to, from or to stop, pick
up or drop off passengers in areas and areas announced with epidemic according
to notice of health authorities.
Particularly for
passenger transport by waterway on the Phan Thiet - Phu Quy route, the
passenger transport units and enterprises on the Phan Thiet - Phu Quy route,
based on the actual situation, actively review and extend the operating
frequency of the boats; not transporting visitors from the regions and
localities that have announced the epidemic according to the notice of the
health authorities.
The Department of
Transport also requires all passenger transport businesses (including road and
waterway), bus stations and ports in Binh Thuan province to continue to
strictly instruct and require passengers for health declarations and body
temperature checking when boarding vehicles and trains and strictly follow the
5K message of the Ministry of Health (Facemasks - Disinfection - Distance - No
gathering - Health declaration). At the same time, to require vehicle drivers,
crew members, service staffs and passengers to wear facemasks properly in
public areas and throughout the journey; washing hands frequently with soap or
antiseptic liquids (with at least 60% alcohol content); Limiting the
communication and eating on the vehicle.
In addition, it is
necessary to carry out regular daily disinfection at passenger lounges, crowded
areas, bus stations and ports; disinfecting vehicles before and immediately
after the end of the trip. During the journey, if any passenger shows signs of
fever, cough, or difficulty breathing, should immediately notifies the service
staff on the vehicle, calling the hotline of Binh Thuan Department of Health
(0967.881.818; 0941.056.360), the Ministry of Health (1900.3228; 1900.9095) for
instructions on handling measures.
The Department of
Transport also asked Binh Thuan Port Authority and the Provincial Border Guard
Command to direct the affiliated divisions and units to preside over and
coordination with the Port Management Boards to strictly control passengers,
resolutely do not allow ships to receive and transport passengers from regions
and localities that have been declared epidemic as notified by health
authorities.
During the implementation,
the Department of Transport will continue to monitor and update the situation,
directing documents and announcements of the relevant authorities to adjust
accordingly, ensuring the effectiveness of the prevention and control of
Covid-19 epidemic as well as satisfying the requirements of passenger transport
in the province.
