Patrols and supervisions to be strengthened for COVID-19 prevention and control in Phan Thiet city

(binhthuan.gov.vn) Since the morning
of November 22, 2021, Phan Thiet mobile COVID-19 prevention and control teams
has organized the patrol and supervision in communes and wards of the city.
Accordingly, these teams will patrol
and handle violations of the provisions of Decision No. 2780/QD-UBND of the
Provincial People's Committee and the relevant documents of the People's
Committee of Phan Thiet city. As detecting any violation, the patrol team will
make a record and assign it to the People's Committees of the ward or commune
where the case is detected for sanctioning. At the same time, the patrol team
is also responsible for supporting the checkpoints of communes and wards in
handling and solving complex cases related to epidemic prevention and control
in the areas in charge.

Currently, the situation of COVID-19
epidemic in the province is very complicated, the number of new cases is
continuously increasing and spreading out in all districts, town and city.
Vaccination coverage for people 18 years of age and older is not high, and
children 17 years of age and younger have not been vaccinated.
Phan Thiet city in particular is the
province's "hot spot" for the epidemic. On November 21, 2021, this
locality recorded 127 new cases of COVID-19, including 114 community cases./.
