Phan Thiet City People’s Committee to arrange container houses for 04 medical checkpoints

the morning of 03/7/2021, the People's Committee of Phan Thiet City installed a
container house at the medical checkpoint on the corner of Le Duan Street and
National Road 1A.
Accordingly, the
People's Committee of Phan Thiet city has installed 04 container houses at 04
out of 10 medical checkpoints at the gateways to the city so far. Container
houses are equipped with air conditioners, lights, and windows, the other
essential items will be added soon in the near future. This type of house at
the medical checkpoints is a shelter and a temporary rest place for the forces
when handing over the shift.
The installation of
container houses will help the functional forces on duty here to improve living
conditions, especially resting. Thereby, improving the capacity and ability to
perform the task of checking vehicles entering the province, minimizing the
risk of disease from entering the province.
Through the form of
socialization, the People's Committee of Phan Thiet continues to call for the
companionship of society, units and businesses to join hands to create favorable
conditions to help the forces in the implementation of COVID-19 prevention and
control.
At the meeting of the
Provincial Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control taking place
on the morning of 01/7/2021, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee
requested localities to continue to well manage the activities at the
checkpoints for COVID-19 prevention and control, and to consider this as a
long-term task. Localities must prepare well the physical conditions at the
checkpoints so that the site duty forces can work comfortably and safely./.
