Phan Thiet city soon to relocate industrial, handicraft places

Currently, Phan Thiet city has 159 industrial - handicraft production
establishments, service establishments existing in residential areas of 14
wards and communes.
The
industrial - handicraft establishments, service establishments in the area of
Phan Thiet city are subject to relocation because they are existing in
residential areas and do not conform to the approved urban plans, including:
Establishments making us of houses both for living and business, production;
production and service establishments that have been approved for construction
permits as they are compatible with the previous land use and construction planning
but have to be relocated because they are not compatible with the current
plannings.
Executing
the direction of the Provincial People's Committee, in the past time, the
People's Committee of Phan Thiet City has coordinated with the Management Board
of the Provincial Industrial Parks to mobilize the above enterprises to
relocate into Phan Thiet Industrial Park - phase 2. Up to now, it has mobilized
40 establishments to register land use needs with an area of about 19,700 m2
at the concentrated industrial - handicraft and service zone in Phan Thiet
Industrial Park; 18 establishments have changed field or stopped production and
business activities.
However,
at present, the Provincial People's Committee does not have any policy to
support relocation, so some establishment owners do not agree to relocate at
this time, the reason is that if the owner of the premises performs the
relocation, he will not be entitled to any supports after the support policy being
issued. Besides, due to the mentality of the establishment owners as they do not
want to move far from the inner city, as it is not convenient for production
and business...
In
the coming time, the People's Committee of Phan Thiet City will continue to
coordinate with the Management Board of the Provincial Industrial Parks in
mobilizing industrial - handicraft production establishments, service
establishments operating in the residential areas to move to Phan Thiet
Industrial Park - phase 2. Previously, the Provincial People's Committee has agreed
for the investor of Phan Thiet Industrial Park - phase 2 to receive production
and service facilities located in urban residential areas in Phan Thiet city
into this Industrial Park with an area of about 5.13 ha.
