Phan Thiet deploys a series of activities to respond to Action Month for Children 2022

to the Month of Action for Children, Phan Thiet city has been implementing many
practical activities towards children, especially those in extremely difficult
and disadvantaged situations.
In the Action Month
for Children, Phan Thiet city will organize extensive propaganda in various
forms on the themes, messages and activities of Action Month for Children.
Strengthening the communication and education of knowledge and skills for child
protection, prevention of violence and child abuse, etc. to parents, family
members, teachers, and people who directly work with children; as well as
educating and disseminating children's knowledge and skills for self-protection
and self-prevention of violence and abuse.
According to local
statistics, there are 221 children from poor households in the city, 338
orphans, and 248 children with disabilities. Every year, the Party committees,
authorities, fronts and mass organizations, along with the joint efforts of
organizations and individuals, have taken care of and helped children in
extremely difficult circumstances through programs such as: Granting
scholarships; free examination and treatment for children with eye defects,
cleft lip, cleft palate, heart surgery and movement disabilities; visit and give
gifts on the occasion of International Children's Day 1/6, Mid-Autumn Festival,
Lunar New Year... thereby sharing, encouraging and helping children to have
more joy and energy in life./.
