(binhthuan.gov.vn) The People's Committee of Phan Thiết City has recently issued a document to continue strengthening the management of adventure sports, water sports, and sports activities that require an instructor for training.

Accordingly, the Management Boards of the Doi Duong - Tien Thanh and Ham Tien - Mui Ne tourist areas must develop plans and procedures for lifeguard and rescue operations. They should also enhance awareness among tourism businesses and establishments offering water sports activities, emphasizing their role in ensuring Phan Thiết City becomes a safe destination. Additionally, it is essential to install warning signs, buoys, flags, and regulations that outline the conditions for tourists when swimming or participating in water sports. Regular inspections should be conducted to promptly repair, replace, or supplement rescue equipment and devices. Moreover, qualified personnel should be on standby to ensure timely rescue operations at public beaches.

The Management Board of the Doi Duong - Tien Thanh and Ham Tien - Mui Ne tourist areas should also strengthen inspections, remind, and promptly correct tourism and water sports businesses to ensure strict compliance with relevant legal regulations regarding the safety of residents and tourists participating in activities at their establishments.

The People's Committee of Phan Thiết City also requires the People's Committees of communes and wards to coordinate with the Management Board of tourist areas and relevant authorities to review, inspect, and guide business households and other organizations engaged in adventure sports, water sports, and sports activities that require instructors. These entities must fully comply with legal regulations and ensure absolute safety before being allowed to operate. If any establishments are found not meeting the legal requirements, strict actions should be taken according to their authorities, and they must immediately cease their operations until all necessary procedures are completed and authorized by the relevant authorities.
