Phan Thiet launches cleaning and decoration to welcome the Lunar New Year 2023

Phan Thiet City People's Committee has just notified agencies, units, tourist
service areas and people in the city to organize the implementation of general
cleaning from now until January 17, 2023 (i.e. the 26th of lunar
December).
Specifically,
organizing general cleaning of garbage places, clearing plants on sidewalks, in
all residential areas, agencies and tourist service businesses; at the same time,
closely coordinating with Binh Thuan Urban Services and Environment Joint Stock
Company (hereinafter referred to as the Company) to organize the collection and
transport of garbage out of the city in a timely manner.
For
garbage such as tree branches, etc., households are required to cut them into
small pieces and bundle them up for the convenience of the Company to collect.
In addition, some damaged items such as tables and chairs, beds, cabinets, etc…
householders must contact the shipping units for a contract to collect and
transport them to the prescribed places.
The
company will collect household garbage particularly from 10 am to 5 pm on
January 21, 2023 (lunar December 30).
The
locality also said that the domestic waste from January 22 to January 24, 2023
(i.e. from the 1st to the 3rd day of Tet) agencies,
tourism service businesses and households must store them until the evening of
January 24, 2023 (i.e. the 3rd day of Tet) before bringing out for
the collection. Absolutely do not sweep garbage onto the street or put garbage
on the sidewalks, roadsides causing unhygienic environment and urban landscape.
In
addition, the People's Committees of wards, communes, agencies and the
Management Boards of the tourist areas shall deploy decorations at their offices,
at the welcome gates of the cultural quarters; at the same time, instructing
businesses, establishments and households located on the main roads to decorate
their places, installing colored lights and slogans to make the city more
beautiful in the happy welcoming days of Spring and Tet.
