Phan Thiet organizes environmental sanitation to prepare for the Visit Vietnam Year 2023

On the morning of December 29, the People's Committee of Phan Thiet city in
collaboration with the Binh Thuan Tourism Association organized a general
campaign on environmental sanitation, garbage collection and treatment in
coastal areas, attractions, public tourist areas in the city.
Accordingly, more
than 200 employees working at nearly 20 tourism enterprises in Phan Thiet city
coordinated with youth union members, border guards and people to
simultaneously collect waste, cleaning in 5 areas: Mui Ne Sand Dunes, Mui Ne
fishing village, Da Ong Dia Beach, Doi Duong park and Tien Thanh beach area.
The groups conducted cleaning, clearing, collection of plastic waste,
collection and treatment of garbage; at the same time, propagandized and
mobilized people and tourists to join hands in preserving and protecting the
green - clean - beautiful living environment, creating a positive change in the
environmental landscapes, civilized lifestyle, preventing illegal littering…
Previously, in order
to well prepare for the Visit Vietnam Year 2023 with the theme "Binh Thuan
- Green Convergence" and serve the people and tourists on the occasion of
the New Year, the Lunar New Year 2023, the People's Committee of Phan Thiet has
developed an implementation plan on ensuring environmental sanitation for
tourism activities.
The Visit Vietnam
Year 2023 "Binh Thuan - Green Convergence" will have more than 200
attractive and unique events and activities, promising a jubilantly prosperous
tourism year, an opportunity to attract domestic and international tourists to
Vietnam. The highlight of the Visit Vietnam Year 2023 is the Announcement
Ceremony of the Visit Vietnam Year 2023 associated with the Countdown Festival
to welcome the new year 2023. Phan Thiet City is the center where the main
events and activities take place.
