(binhthuan.gov.vn)
In line with the policy to implement night economic activities based on the
Night Economy Development Project approved by the Provincial People's
Committee, the Phan Thiết City People's Committee plans to introduce three
pilot models for night economic activities in three areas
Specifically: The
food street on Tuyen Quang Street, located in Binh Hung Ward (the section from
Nguyen Tat Thanh - Tuyen Quang to Thu Khoa Huan - Tuyen Quang). Operating hours
will be from 5:30 PM to 12:00 AM on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The launch
is expected to take place at the end of September 2024. The scale will range
from 50 to 100 stalls, including: food stalls and OCOP products from Binh
Thuan; an area showcasing local specialty dishes (food carts, street vendors,
stalls, etc.); a cultural and artistic performance area (featuring various
forms), with arrangements made according to actual conditions; and an area for
traditional folk games and recreational activities for children.
The Mui Ne Night
Food Market model will be located at the former Cultural House site in Quarter
5, Huynh Thuc Khang Street, Mui Ne Ward. The opening is expected in October
2024. Operating hours will be from 5:30 PM to 2:00 AM the following day. After
this time, all individuals and organizations must stop business activities,
clean up, and return the site to its original condition by 5:00 AM the
following day. The market will feature a minimum of 70 stalls, divided into
three main areas. Mobile stalls (food trucks) will be set up, and no permanent
structures or fixed materials will be built on the site (except for public
restrooms).
The Night Economy
Model for the Local Specialty Area and the Night Food and Beverage Area at
Novaworld Phan Thiet, operated by Delta – Valley Binh Thuan Co., Ltd. It will
operate on weekends, with extended hours considered for holidays and Tet. The
Night Food and Beverage Area will operate daily from 4:00 PM until late at
night. The launch is expected in September 2024.
In addition, the
wards of Ham Tien and Binh Hung are also planning to develop night economy
areas on Hoa Binh Street in Ham Tien Ward and Pham Van Dong Street in Binh Hung
Ward.
Currently, the
city of Phan Thiết is continuing to accelerate progress and implement
developments as scheduled, focusing on enhancing community engagement,
communication, and outreach to foster greater consensus among residents in the
areas designated for development. The city also encourages businesses and the
community to participate.
To implement the
night economy models in the area, the city of Phan Thiết has also suggested that
the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Binh Thuan Tourism
Association, and the Tourism Promotion Center support, connect, share, and
promote the image of the city to attract tourists for visits, experiences,
entertainment, dining, shopping, and night-time activities.
