Thiet City People's Committee has just planned to implement the Action Program
to implement the Resolution of the Government, Provincial Party Committee,
Provincial People's Council on the socio-economic development plan and state
budget estimate in 2022.
With the motto
"Solidarity, discipline, innovation, drastic action, aspiration for
development", in 2022, Phan Thiet will continue to effectively implement
the "dual" goal of safe and flexible adaptation and effective control
over the COVID-19 pandemic; not being subjective or neglected, considering
epidemic control and ensuring people's health as a prerequisite for recovery
and promoting economic development. Effectively exploiting and using the city's
resources, potentials and advantages; accelerating the economic restructuring
in association with renovating the growth model, increasing labor productivity
and competitiveness of the economy, focusing on developing service, industry
and agriculture sectors. Continuing to promote administrative reform, creating
a favorable environment to attract investment, develop production and business.
Improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the state administrative
apparatus. Ensuring social security and social welfare to improve and enhance
the people's material and spiritual life. Maintaining national defense -
security and social order and safety. Phan Thiet has set out 6 key
socio-economic targets in 2022, of which budget revenue to complete the target
of 1,170 billion dong assigned by the province; striving to reach 1,250 billion
dong according to the target assigned by the city.
