Phan Thiet to organize the 13th Nghinh Ong Festival 2022

organization board of Phan Thiet city’s Nghinh Ong Festival has just prepared
plan on the 13th Nghinh Ong Festival 2022. The festival will be officially held
in 3 days from August 18-20 (or the 21st, 22nd and 23rd of the lunar July).
Nghinh Ong festival
is divided into 2 parts. The rituals part, before the official festival, at
13:00 to 16:00 on August 18, 2022 (on the 21st of the lunar July) will hold a
ceremony to invite Ba Thien Hau at Thien Hau Palace, Phu Long town, Ham Thuan
Bac district (adjacent to Phu Hai ward) to Quan De Mieu. The second day (August
19, 2022, or lunar July 22): the release ceremony (setting free 100 sparrows)
at Quan De Mieu; Horse offerings; alms giving; boat release (at Phan Thiet
Fishing Port)...
The main part is
Nghinh Ong Quan Thanh De Quan parade, which will start at 5:00 a.m. on August
20, 2022, or the 23rd of lunar July. Participants in Nghinh Ong parade include:
Quan De Mieu delegation and accompanying club-houses: Phuoc Kien, Quang Dong,
Trieu Chau, Hai Nam.
