The above situation has caused panic, anxiety, and insecurity among the people. The murders are mainly caused by conflicts within the people; the perpetrators of crimes are diverse in composition, mainly in the age of teenagers and young adults, most of whom commit crimes for the first time, no criminal record, causing difficulties in crime prevention and investigation.

In order to strengthen measures for murder prevention, in the coming time, Phan Thiet city will promote the synergy of both the political system and the entire population in crime prevention and control. Strengthening propaganda, popularize legal education, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of state management associated with ensuring security and order, crime prevention and control. Timely and thoroughly settling complaints and denunciations without allowing complications and protracted problems to arise into "hotspots" on security and order. At the same time, executing well the work of conciliation at the grassroots level, focusing on resolving conflicts within the people; organizing the integration of cultural activities associated with new rural development, conventions in residential communities; building civilized life in agencies, units, schools and residential areas, in order to limit and eliminate the causes and conditions of murder crime. Clearly defining tasks and responsibilities and improving the efficiency of coordination among agencies, departments, sectors and unions in crime prevention and control in general and murder crime in particular; handling the responsibilities of the leaderships of localities that not doing well in settling complaints and denunciations, civil judgment enforcement, conflict resolution, and grassroots conciliation resulting in the occurrence of murder.

In addition, in the coming time, the city police force will strengthen the state management of security and order; pushing up the movement of the whole people to participate in the prevention, detection and denunciation of crimes; providing guidance on handling violent and potential for violent situation, contributing to raise people's awareness of vigilance and prevention.
