Phan Thiet to set up 10 checkpoints for COVID-19

01/8, Phan Thiet City People's Committee established 10 checkpoints for
COVID-19 at the gateways and entrances on road to the city.
These checkpoints
will operate 24/24, including Saturday and Sunday, starting from 05pm on 01/8. Their
tasks are to enhance the security and order, strictly control people and
vehicles from other places to the city, wards, communes and residential areas. Stopping
vehicles to request people and vehicles to comply strictly with regulations on
social isolation and social distancing as prescribed by Directive no 16. Ensuring
that no public vehicles to carry people who are not subject to travel to or
from the in charge. Handling and proposing to handle cases of non-compliance with
regulations on disease prevention and control in accordance with law.
The location of the checkpoints:
Checkpoint no 1 is located at Suoi Cat roundabout, Tien Loi commune. Checkpoint
no 2 is located on Nguyen Thi Dinh Street - Truong Chinh. Checkpoint no 3 on
Lac Long Quan Street, Tien Thanh Commune. Checkpoint no 4 is located on Le Duan
street, near the intersection of Le Duan - Truong Chinh. Checkpoint no 5 is
located on Hai Thuong Lan Ong Street, near the intersection of Hai Thuong Lan
Ong - Truong Chinh. Checkpoint no 6 is located on Dang Van Lanh street, near
the intersection of Dang Van Lanh - Truong Chinh, towards the People's
Committee of Phong Nam commune. Checkpoint no 7 is located on Dang Van Lanh
street, near the intersection of Dang Van Lanh - Truong Chinh. Checkpoint no 8
is located on Nguyen Hoi street, near the intersection of Nguyen Hoi - Truong
Chinh. Checkpoint no 9 is located at the park right at the North Xuan An
Roundabout. Checkpoint no 10 is located on Hoa Thang - Mui Ne street, near the
boundary of Bac Binh district and Phan Thiet city.
On 01/8, Phan Thiet
City People's Committee also decided to set up 3 mobile patrol teams for
epidemic prevention. The tasks of the teams are to patrol, control and handle
any case of people going out without wearing masks or gathering more than 2 in
public places outside the public offices or hospitals, making and delivering
the violation minute to People's Committees of wards and communes where
violations are discovered for settling as prescribed by the regulations.
Supporting the checkpoints, wards and communes to handle and settle the complex
cases related to epidemic prevention and control on the assigned routes and
areas.
