Phan Thiet to strengthen social order and safety after Covid-19

People's Committee of Phan Thiet City, the current situation of security and
order in the city is still potentially complicated, especially after the city
applied temporary regulations on administrative measures "Safe and
flexible adaptation and effective control of the COVID-19 pandemic"
according to level of epidemic, which has loosened the social distance, the
crimes such as: theft, robbery, fraudulent appropriation of property, illegal
gambling, crimes related to usury, crimes and violations of the law on
drugs..., acts that are the direct cause of traffic accidents (illegal racing,
speeding, reckless overtaking...) are at risk resurgence in the city
In order to well perform the work of
preventing, fighting, restraining and reducing crimes, social evils, and
traffic accidents, the People's Committee of Phan Thiet City requests the
city's agencies and units, the Chairpersons of People's Committees of wards and
communes continue to organize and effectively implement the Directives and
Resolutions of the Central Government and the Programs, Plans and Directive
Documents of the City Communist Party Committee and People's Committee on the
prevention and combat of crimes and law violations in the field of traffic
order and safety. The functional agencies and units at all levels must consider
the work of crime prevention and control in the field of traffic order and
safety as one of the urgent, regular and long-term missions; clearly defining
the responsibilities of each agency, each level in association with the
responsibilities of the heads of the Party committees, authorities, agencies
and units, promoting the pioneering and exemplary role of each cadre and party
member in their work of preventing and combating crimes and law violations in
the field of traffic order and safety.
The City Public Security must
strengthen the situational work for promptly proposing the undertakings and
solutions to maintain social order and safety to avoid being passive in any
situation. At the same time, implementing measures to ensure the absolute
safety for the key targets and places, the important political, cultural and
social events of the country and the locality. Effectively deploying the peak
launch for attacking and suppressing criminals to ensure security and order
before, during and after the Lunar New Year of the Tiger 2022; pushing up the
work of crime prevention, detection and handling; focusing on implementing
effectively the work of traffic order and safety. Reviewing and identifying the
key and complex areas in terms of social order and safety to transform them
into areas with no crime or minimum crime rate. Performing well the work of
receiving and handling the crime reports and denunciations, and the petitions
for prosecution; strengthening the patrol and control for timely detecting
signs of crime and law violations to take preventive measures; improving the
quality of investigation …
