Phan Thiet to strengthen the management of private medical and pharmaceutical practices

The People's Committee of Phan Thiet city has just planed to strengthen state
management of private medical - pharmaceutical - traditional medicine
practices, establishments trading cosmetics, medical equipment, functional
foods, and health protection products, massage service establishments, cosmetic
services, beauty care (spa), eyeglass establishments (hereinafter referred to
as private medical and pharmaceutical practice establishments) in order to
gradually get into order, in accordance with the provisions of laws,
contributing to improve the quality and efficiency of providing people's health
care and protection services in the city.
According
to the Plan, during the implementation process, the correct procedures and
guiding documents of all levels must be followed; carry out effectively the
inter-sectoral coordination in the management of private medical and pharmaceutical
practice establishments; combine inspection with public education and
propaganda to raise awareness and responsibility of establishments in business
activities related to human health, bringing the management of private medical
and pharmaceutical practices to become increasingly effective and in order. In
addition, strengthening the inspection and control of private medical and
pharmaceutical practice establishments in the city in accordance with
regulations, focusing on checking compliance with practice conditions.
The
People's Committees of wards and communes in the city shall strengthen
propaganda and dissemination of laws related to private medical and
pharmaceutical practice. Review, investigate, and prepare the monitoring list; at
the same time, coordinate to participate in inspection of private medical and
pharmaceutical practice establishments in the management areas to promptly
detect and correct establishments that practice without license or re-operate
without license or operate inconsistently with the laws.
