Phu Quy allows boats and fishermen to resume fishing activities

the complicated situation of the Covid-19 epidemic, the People's Committee of
Phu Quy district has agreed to allow boats and fishermen to resume fishing
activities for creating favorable conditions for boats and fishermen to exploit
seafood in order to generate income, overcome difficulties, and restore the
economy.
Accordingly, Phu Quy District People's
Committee encourages boats of 15m or more with VMS cruise monitoring machine
and operation at sea for 15 days or more. In order to go fishing, all crew
members on board must be vaccinated with 2 doses of vaccine or have a
certificate of cure for Covid-19 not older than 6 months and must have a negative
Covid-19 test certificate within 72 hours. All crew members must strictly
comply with 5K regulations, and the process of medical notification and
declaration when leaving and entering the wharf.
When entering and exiting the boat
dock, they must notify the Control Station of Phu Quy Port Border Guard 2 hours
in advance to carry out the procedures. The crew members are encouraged to stay
in the vehicle for the next trip. In case of necessity, they must notify the
Border Guard Control Station for medical declaration and Covid-19 testing
before going on shore.

Border Guard will be responsible for monitoring and managing boats and
fishermen in accordance with regulations.
