Phu Quy District has achieved many outstanding results in digital transformation in 2024
(binhthuan.gov.vn)
In 2024, the Implementation Team of Phu Quy District's Digital Transformation
Program proactively coordinated with agencies and units in the district to
develop and build some specific functions for Phu Quy District through national
digital applications and platforms (Vietnam Tourism Application, digital
tourism map, Vietnam Sports Application); initially facilitating tourists and
locals to access and use popular digital platforms; promoting and introducing
information about the district's characteristic tourist destinations, services,
and attractions.
As a
result, in the field of tourism, Phu Quy district has now completed the
digitization of all 11/11 notable tourist attractions and landmarks on the
"Explore" section of the Vietnam Tourism Yellow Pages and the Vietnam
Tourism app. This allows visitors to easily search for and access information
quickly and conveniently through the Digital Tourism Map when they visit Phu
Quy. Automated guides for the 11 prominent tourist destinations of the district
are available (information on history, culture, and characteristics of each
site can be accessed through the sections: Introduction, images, and audio on
the Vietnam Tourism app). A pilot project has launched 40 destinations on the
Digital Tourism Map, including restaurants, hotels, homestays, and tourist
sites, to promote and introduce information about the district's landmarks,
tourism services, and unique attractions. Additionally, a communication channel
has been created to provide consulting services to tourists via the chat
feature within the app. The "Accommodation Management" feature has
been completed, and a dedicated booking section for Phu Quy district has been
established on the Vietnam Tourism app (with plans to connect all accommodation
facilities in the district by Q1/2025). The car rental feature has been
successfully tested and connected with car rental services in Phu Quy through
the Vietnam Tourism app, allowing tourists to easily rent cars via the app
(this feature is expected to be fully operational by Q1/2025).
In the
healthcare sector, Phu Quy district has implemented and put into use the
Healthcare Management software at the Phu Quy Military-Civilian Health Center.
Currently, the software is operating smoothly, helping to improve the
efficiency of medical examination and treatment, patient management, medical
history, and related healthcare information. The electronic medical records
(EMR) system has been implemented, and it is expected that in Q1/2025, an
evaluation and assessment will be conducted, followed by the official
announcement of its official usage.
In the
field of card issuance and electronic payments, Phu Quy district has now opened
bank payment accounts for service providers (points of payment acceptance),
with 104 accounts for business households. These accounts support the
implementation of electronic payments and cashless transactions. A pilot
project for the Viet Card and card payment acceptance points has been launched
at Ngo Quyen High School; the payment card allows students to easily make
payments for meals and other services within the school in a convenient and
quick manner. Additionally, electronic payments have been piloted at 16 tourism
service providers, including restaurants, homestays, and cafes, such as 93 Độ
Đông, Villa Giác, Dốc Phượt Cafe, Red Crab Restaurant, and others.
In
addition, Phu Quy district has made significant progress in digital
transformation in sports activities. Specifically, the district has managed and
updated information about sports and created a dedicated section for Phu Quy on
the Vietnam Sports app. The district also manages various fees, fee
notifications, and community bulletin boards for residents of Phu Quy through
the notification feature on the Viet Card app. Pilot connections have been made
with electronic ticketing systems, such as Vietnam Railway tickets and the
largest bus ticketing system in Vietnam, to lay the groundwork for integrating
with ferry ticket providers to Phu Quy. This will allow tourists to purchase and
pay for tickets via the Vietnam Tourism app.
