Plan against smuggling, commercial fraud and counterfeiting before, during and after the Lunar New Year 2023

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phong has just
signed and promulgated the plan against smuggling, commercial fraud and
counterfeit before, during and after the Lunar New Year 2023 in Binh Thuan
province.
Accordingly, the period
to implement the plan against smuggling, commercial fraud and counterfeiting
before, during and after the Lunar New Year 2023 in Binh Thuan province is from
December 01, 2022 to February 20, 2023.
The objectives are to
effectively implement the Plan of the National Steering Committee 389 and the
Provincial Steering Committee 389, especially the plan against smuggling,
commercial fraud and counterfeiting in e-commerce activities; strengthening
exchange and provision of information, coordinating in inspecting, controlling,
arresting and handling acts of producing, transporting, trading in banned and
smuggled goods, manufacturing and trading in counterfeit goods and goods with poor
quality, goods of unknown origin and food safety violations to contribute to
market stabilization in the last months of 2022 and before, during and after
the Lunar New Year 2023.
Identifying key
objects, routes, areas and goods; strengthening the control at supermarkets,
specialized stores, convenience stores, wholesalers, grocery stores, markets
and goods gathering areas...; controlling acts of taking advantage of buying
and selling online, social networks (facebook, zalo...) to trade in banned
goods, counterfeit goods, goods of unknown origin, goods infringing
intellectual property rights. At the same time, strengthening the propaganda
and dissemination of legal policies with rich and diverse forms to ensure
suitability with the actual situation in the province in order to contribute to
profound and wide changes, gradually improving the awareness and sense of
responsibility of the community in preventing smuggling, commercial fraud and
counterfeiting.
