Plan for digital transformation, development of digital government, digital economy and digital society in Binh Thuan province 2023

People's Committee has just issued a plan for digital transformation,
development of digital government, digital economy and digital society in Binh
Thuan province 2023.
The promulgation of the plan aims to
continue implementing the targets and tasks in Resolution no. 10-NQ/TU dated
March 18, 2022 of the Party Executive Committee of Binh Thuan province (term
XIV), Plan no. 1282/KH-UBND dated May 4, 2022 of the Provincial People's
Committee on implementing Resolution no. 10-NQ/TU dated March 18, 2022 of the
Provincial Party Executive Committee (term XIV) and plans and decisions
Provincial People's Committee has issued related on the implementation of tasks on digital
transformation, development of digital government, digital economy and digital society
under the direction of the Government, Prime Minister, National Committee on
Digital Transformation and central ministries and agencies. In particular, it focuses
on upgrading and completing infrastructure, developing information systems,
digital platforms, shared and specialized databases to create a foundation for
building digital government to contribute to socio-economic development,
national defense and security guaranty, administrative reform promotion,
operational efficiency improvement of authorities at all levels, development promotion
of the digital economy and digital society in order to improve the quality of
people's lives in the province.
The plan sets out many specific
goals related to digital government development, digital economy development,
digital society development and a number of key missions and projects that need
to be implemented in 2023; at the same time, it clearly states each task
related to the departments, agencies, and localities.
Regarding implementation, the plan
proposes five main groups of solutions: Promoting the roles and
responsibilities of the leaders; Promoting communication, raising awareness,
digital skills, enhancing interaction with people and businesses; Mobilizing
resources to develop digital infrastructure, digital platforms and digital data base;
Attracting information technology resources; Connection, cooperation and
research and development./.
