strong change in awareness and actions of all levels, sectors, social
organizations and community in the work of prostitution prevention and control;
increasing the accessibility and use of social services for community
integration for prostitutes. The Provincial People's Committee has just issued
the Plan on prostitution prevention and control for the period of 2021 - 2025.
Accordingly, in order
to effectively implement the Program on prevention and control of prostitution
for the period of 2021 - 2025, the PPC requires the departments, agencies and
localities to improve the effectiveness of communication, propaganda,
dissemination and education on prostitution prevention and control. Continuing
to promote the implementation of prostitution prevention activities through the
integration of relevant local programs. Strengthening inspection and examination;
promptly detecting and handling violations of the law on prostitution
prevention and control; investigating and prosecuting crimes related to
prostitution. Developing and implementing the interventions to reduce the harm,
prevent the transmission of social diseases and HIV/AIDS, and prevent and
reduce the gender-based violence in prostitution prevention and control. At the
same time, training, educating and fostering to improve capacity, expertise and
professionalism for the cadres, civil servants, public employees and soldiers
in performing the task of prostitution prevention and control.
