The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phong has
just signed and promulgated a plan to support, connect and promote the
consumption of agricultural products in the context of Covid-19.
The plan aims to find
suitable solutions to strive for the goal of supporting, connecting and
promoting the consumption of agricultural products in the context of Covid-19. At
the same time, it assigns clearly the responsibilities of all levels and
sectors for supporting, connecting and promoting the consumption of
agricultural products in difficult conditions of epidemic prevention and
control in order to basically consume all agricultural products of Binh Thuan
province as well as to ensure the brand names and stable prices, contributing
to improve people's living standards and incomes.
Under the direction
of the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the relevant
departments and agencies and the People's Committees of the districts, towns
and cities shall actively implement many synchronous and drastic solutions to
promptly support businesses and cooperatives, farmers in the consumption of
agricultural products of Binh Thuan province in 2021. In which, focusing on the
development of safe material areas; improving the capacity for pre-processing,
processing and preserving agricultural products; strengthening the publicity
and trade promotion; applying digital economy and e-commerce in consumption and
exportation of agricultural products; promoting the consumption of agricultural
products in the domestic market; searching and expanding the export markets,
etc.
