Positive contributions of reputable people in ethnic minority areas

Currently, our province has 34 ethnic minorities, with 102,950 people/24,951
households, accounting for over 8% of the province's population. In general,
ethnic minorities reside widely throughout the province with the common form of
residence being interspersed living; Each ethnic group has its own cultural
identity, customs, practices and festivals, creating richness and diversity in
the cultures of ethnic groups in the province.
The reality has
confirmed that the ethnic minority prestigious people, intellectuals and entrepreneurs are the core force, an
important bridge between the Party committee, the government and the people,
making many practical contributions in the field of patriotic emulation
movements and mobilization of the masses and ethnic minorities to well observe
the guidelines and policies of the Party and the State's laws, especially those
on ethnic affairs and implementation of the ethnicity policy and great national
unity; mobilizing and guiding ethnic minorities to actively participate in
production and business development, hunger eradication and poverty reduction;
building and replicating good production and business models, getting rich
righteously, uniting to overcome difficulties, building cultural families,
villages and hamlets; preventing and combating social evils, eliminating
backward customs.
