survey of enterprises in the processing and manufacturing industry conducted by
the Provincial Statistics Office showed that 39.13% of enterprises rated their
production and business situation in the second quarter of 2021 better than previous
quarter; 28.99% of them rated it as difficult and 31.88% said it was stable.
34.43% of
non-state-owned enterprises assesses the tendency to get better; 32.79% rates
the tendency to remain the same and 32.79% evaluates the tendency to decrease
(more difficult). 71.43% of foreign direct investment enterprises (FDI) is
thinking of a positive trend and 28.57% of them shows the same tendency and no
enterprises with a downward trend (more difficult).
Among the main
factors affecting the production and business of enterprises in the second
quarter of 2021, 56.52% of enterprises votes for the lack of raw materials;
28.99% of enterprises thinks of the low domestic market demand; 23.19% of
enterprises could not recruit workers as required; 30.43% of enterprises faces
with financial difficulties and 36.23% of enterprises assesses for other
reasons (COVID-19).
As asked about the
expectation for production and business situation in the third quarter of 2021
compared to the second quarter of 2021, 78.26% of enterprises hopes their
production and business situation as stable and better. In which, 47.83% of
enterprises assesses the trend would be better; 30.43% of enterprises thinks
that the production and business situation is stable and 21.74% them forecasts
more difficult.
According to the
Provincial Statistics Office, in the first 6 months of 2021 (as of 15/6/2021),
there were 585 newly established enterprises (226 affiliated units), increased
of 1.39% compared to the same period of 2020;
5,529.26 billion dong of registered capital , increased of 23.84%; 153
re-operated enterprises (23 affiliated units), increased by 2.89 times; 191
suspended enterprises (34 affiliated units), increased of 3.24%; 40
type-transformed enterprises (no
affiliated unit), equaled to the same period in 2020; 123 dissolved enterprises
(including 58 affiliated units), increased of 39.77%.
In the first 6 months
of 2021 (as of 04/6/2021), there are 15 newly licensed projects in the province,
with a total land area of 424 hectares, 14,103 billion VND of total registered
investment capital. Compared to the same period in 2020, it is decreased 11
projects, the total land area increased by 1.73 times and the total registered
capital increased by 2.29 times. In addition, the decisions on investment
policy/investment certificate were granted for 21 projects.
The social
development investment capital in the first 6 months of 2021 is estimated at
15,085.5 billion VND, increases of 11.82% over the same period in 2020 (of
which, the provincial state capital reaches 2,045.4 billion VND, 13.08% of
growth; the provincial non-state capital reaches 11,544.9 billion VND, 12.33%
of growth; the foreign direct investment capital reaches 1,495.2 billion VND,
6.46% of growth).
It can be seen that, by
the impact of COVID-19, the province's socio-economic situation in the first 6
months of 2021 faced with many difficulties. This has directly affected the production,
business activities and people’s lives in the province. Over the past time, the
Provincial People's Committee has regularly held many conferences to meet and
dialogue with enterprises. Thereby, removing difficulties for enterprises to
overcome the challenges from COVID-19.
It is forecasted that
after COVID-19 is under control, it will help the economy reopen and recover. Thereby,
improving the production and business activities of enterprises and people's
lives in the province./.
