Preparation for the effective and successful organization of the 76th World Individual Carom 3-Cushion Billiards Championship in Binh Thuan province

The 76th World Individual Carom 3-Cushion Billiards Championship will take place from September 25 to September 29, 2024 at
Sealinks City (Nguyen Thong Street, Ward 5, Phu Hai Ward, Phan Thiet City, Binh
Thuan Province),
The
tournament is organized under the regulations of the Union Mondiale Billard
(UMB), with 48 athletes who are the highest ranked players on the UMB rankings
and the rankings of the continental confederations in the world. Of which,
Vietnam has the most representatives participating in this year's tournament,
with 6 excellent players including the defending champion Bao Phuong Vinh, Tran
Quyet Chien, Nguyen Van Tai, Tran Thanh Luc, Le Thanh Tien and Tran Duc Minh.
Schedule:
The opening ceremony and official round will take place on September 25, 2024;
the annual Union Mondiale Billard General Assembly will be held on September
28; the semi-finals, finals, closing and awarding ceremony will take place on
September 29.
In
order to organize the tournament effectively and successfully, the Organizing
Committee requires to comply with Vietnamese laws, international regulations
and the tournament's Charter. In addition, the preparation of the conditions
for organizing the annual Union Mondiale Billard General Assembly must also be
thoughtful, effective, creating a good impression for the leaders of the carom
billiards federations of countries and territories, as well as the leaders of
the carom billiards federations at the continental and world levels. The
process of organizing the tournament and the annual Union Mondiale Billard
General Assembly must ensure security, safety and transparency.
As
known, this tournament is in the UMB professional scoring system; at the same
time, the Union Mondiale Billard General Assembly is an important event of the Union
Mondiale Billard held annually to celebrate the 79th anniversary of
the success of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2024) and
the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 -
September 2, 2024).
