Promoting agricultural product processing and market development in the province

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has just issued a written request
to the relevant departments, agencies and the People's Committees of the
districts, towns and cities to promote the processing and market development of
agricultural product in the province.
Accordingly, the
relevant departments, agencies and People's Committees of districts, towns and
cities shall focus on implementing the administrative reform, in which paying
attention to simplifying the documentary and shortening the administrative
procedures in order to call and attract potential organizations to invest in
agricultural processing and logistics system for serving agriculture sector; at
the same time, reviewing the plans for agricultural product processing zones to
advise the Provincial People's Committee in adjusting in the orientation of
linking the agricultural product processing zones to the concentrated raw
material production areas on the basis of conformity with the general plan on
socio-economic development of the province and environmental protection.
The Department of
Agriculture and Rural Development shall coordinate with relevant agencies to
promote the information work, deploying policies to encourage and support the
investment in agricultural production activities, paying attention to promoting
mechanization in initial production and innovation in processing technology in
small and medium enterprises. Reviewing production areas, transforming into
large-scale concentrated specialized production areas suitable to the
advantages of each region and each locality, paying special attention to the
planning of production areas for key products of the province; promoting the
synchronous mechanization of stages in the value chain of agricultural
products, improving productivity, ensuring product quality and traceability;
focusing on accelerating the restructuring of the agricultural sector in the
orientation of large commodity production associated with processing, logistics
and consumption markets.
The Department of
Industry and Trade shall promote trade promotion activities, supporting
agricultural production and business establishments to seek for domestic and
foreign partners; regularly informing and supporting business establishments to
participate in trade connection programs, electronic trade platforms...; researching
and advising the Provincial People's Committee to organize the signing of
agreements for supply - consumption of agricultural products with the other
provinces and regions.
