Promoting digital transformation in non-cash social security payments

(binhthuan.gov.vn) Recently,
Deputy Prime Minister - Vu Duc Dam has promulgated Directive No. 21/CT-TTg on
promoting digital transformation in non-cash social security payments.
The Directive
requires ministries, sectors and localities to actively and urgently promote
digital transformation in the implementation of social security policies and
non-cash payments to employees and beneficiaries from the State budget.
Specifically, the
Government assigns the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to
develop and complete a database of beneficiaries of social security policies,
to connect and share social security data with the National Database on Population
according to the progress of the project on developing the application of population
database, electronic identification and authentication for national digital
transformation in the 2022-2025 period, vision to 2030 as stated in the
Decision No. 06/QD-TTg dated January 6, 2022 of the Prime Minister (referred to
as Project 06).
At the same time,
urgently implementing the connection and synchronization of social security database
to ensure the roadmap of Project 06; directing the local polices to coordinate
with the local labor agencies to review, compare and accomplish the information
verification on beneficiaries of social security policies in the localities for
the non-cash payment of social security benefits within 2022…
