School violence does not only occur in male students but also in female students; not only between students and students but also between students and teachers, and teachers against pupils (with preschool children). Violent acts can be physical violence (beating, pushing, etc.), verbal violence (threats, slander) and mental violence (boycott, alienation, bad-mouthing, etc.).

In Binh Thuan province, the prevention of school violence in preschool, general education and continuing education institutions is determined as very important task. Annually, the Department of Education and Training has directed, guided, and organized trainings for school units on propaganda and education on ethics and lifestyle; prevention of school violence and child abuse in schools, making this issue as one of the key contents of the plan on implementation of the school year's tasks.

Education institutions throughout the province also actively coordinate with local authorities and social organizations to strengthen solutions to ensure security and order, school safety; preventing and remedying factors that pose risks to school safety and security; ensuring absolute physical and mental safety for teachers and students, preschool children in educational institutions.

Along with that, continuing to strengthen propaganda and dissemination of methods and tricks of crimes against child sexual abuse, the causes and conditions leading to the arising of this type of crime and guide the knowledge and skills on child protection so that parents and caregivers raise vigilance and change awareness, attitude, behavior and concept in child protection; coordinating between families and schools in propagating and educating about gender knowledge, equipping children with prevention and self-protection skills, especially girls, in order to prevent child sexual abuse crimes.

In particular, changing the approach from traditional propaganda methods (press, radio, television...) to the application of social networks (facebook, zalo, youtube...) in propaganda and prevention of child sexual abuse. At the same time, taking measures to control and handle false and unsafe network information for students.
