Propaganda on the fishing vessels management and prevention of incidents when operating at sea

Over the past time, the management of fishing vessels in exploiting, aquatic
services, safety equipment inspection, and communication before disembarking
into the sea have been concerned and carried out regularly. However, there are
still many limitations, leading to boat incidents, fatal accidents, fishermen
falling into the sea, missing for unknown reasons when operating at sea tend to
increase, but there are no effective measures to reduce. Accordingly, the
Department of Information and Communications has requested the press agencies
in the province and coastal localities to promote propaganda on fishing vessels
management and incidents prevention when operating at sea.
In particular, focusing
on propaganda and education in various forms so that fishermen can understand
the benefits, importance and obligations of equipping safety equipment, buying
boat and crew accident insurance, ensuring boats are always in a safe state
when operating to create positive changes in the awareness of fishermen and boat
owners.
Propagating on the
state management activities and professional implementation of relevant
agencies and units to help fishermen fully aware of their responsibilities,
fully equipped with knowledge and skills when practicing at sea, fully declaring
the route of practice, reporting to the Port Management Board, preventing and
responding to incidents and accidents occurred at sea.
