Propagating and disseminating the provisions of law on human trafficking crime

the past time, the number of people in the province going abroad, especially
neighboring countries and in Southeast Asia for various purposes, tends to
increase, so the Department of Information and Communications requests the
press agencies in the province to step up propaganda to prevent and combat acts
of enticing and deceiving Vietnamese people to work abroad illegally and the human
trafficking crime.
Accordingly, media
agencies shall provide information on the situation of Vietnamese people being
tricked to go abroad to work in disguised online game companies owned by
Chinese, especially in Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, UAE and Philippines, and human
trafficking prevention and control. Focusing on propagandizing on the signs,
methods and tricks of deception and manipulation of the lines that send
Vietnamese people abroad to work illegally to raise people's vigilance on this
issue for proactive prevention.
It is needed to increase
the frequency of propaganda and education in diverse and understandable forms
for the people, focusing on extensive propaganda to those at high risk, places
that use many female workers, places with many women marrying foreigners, or
girls who have special circumstances, etc. not to let them become victims of
human trafficking crime.
Propagating,
disseminating and educating new legal provisions on the crime of trafficking in
persons under 16 years of age of the Penal Code 2015 with amendments and
supplements in 2017 and relevant regulations; it should be combined with information,
propaganda, and launching of the Movement on All people protect national
security, and crimes and social evils prevention and fighting, especially human
trafficking crime. At the same time, propagandizing the vocational training
projects, stable job opportunities at local businesses so that people can
stabilize their lives, not to be fooled by seducing, enticing and deceiving
Vietnamese people to work abroad illegally, or abetting human trafficking
crime.
