The meeting was chaired by Mr. Le Tuan Phong - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee with the attendance of Mr. Duong Van An - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Hoai Anh - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Nguyen Duc Hoa - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leadership representatives of relevant departments, agencies and localities; the associations and businesses operating in the province.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Le Tuan Phong emphasized: With the spirit of setting the priority of accompanying businesses and listening to the opinions of enterprises, leaders of Binh Thuan province and the heads of the concerned departments, agencies and localities will meet and work directly with enterprises and investors at least once a month. From there, creating favorable conditions for businesses and investors to learn the attracting investment mechanisms and policies of the province and especially to reflect and request to provincial leaders about difficulties and problems arising in investment registration procedures, approving project investment overtaking and investment project implementation in the province, as well as in production and business activities.

The representatives of associations, industries and businesses frankly spoke out and exchanged their difficulties and problems, and proposed some opinions on the investment environment, mechanisms and policies.

On behalf of the Provincial Business Association, Mr. Huynh Van Nghi, Chairman of the Association, proposed the Provincial Emulation and Reward Council to reconsider the criteria and composition of the Council for reward review on the Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Day; At the same time, the province should consider to reorganize the business associations in the province due to there are so many associations, but no organizations really represent for the business community of the province.

Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa, Chairman of the Provincial Tourism Association also stated: Currently, many tourism businesses have difficulty in expanding construction and investment due to problems in defining boundaries of coastal protection corridors. Therefore, the province is requested to direct relevant departments and agencies to speed up the determination of boundaries of coastal protection corridors. In addition, due to the recent sea erosion, along the beaches of Ham Tien - Mui Ne, the accommodation facilities have installed the soft embankments without the general instructions of functional sectors that has created a sleazy landscape. Facing with this situation, the Tourism Association proposes to the province to early implement an investment project to build embankments for coastal erosion prevention, protecting beaches for tourist areas. Mr. Khoa also said that if the State's capital support is limited, businesses will socialize to invest the construction.

In addition, the Tourism Association recommends the province to accelerate specific mechanisms and policies to remove the investment problems in Mui Ne national tourist zone; in which removing the overlap on titanium plan in national tourism areas; to continue investing and upgrading the arterial roads in Mui Ne national tourist zone; thoroughly handling the situation of littering, indiscriminate garbage gathering and building a large-scale waste treatment system ... Facing the impact of the COVID-19, the Tourism Association suggests the province and the ministries and central agencies to continues to implement policies to support the businesses to overcome difficulties, to gradually restore the tourism industry such as: policy of extending loan repayment time, land rent, several tax policies ...

In order to resolve the recommendations of associations and enterprises at the meeting, Mr. Le Tuan Phong - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee asked the heads of departments and agencies to directly answer each issue proposed by the associations and enterprises, and assign the relevant departments and agencies to monitor, study and resolve. Regarding to the investment of new road and upgrading Nguyen Dinh Chieu road, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that this is the priority project to develop Mui Ne national tourist zone, he said that in the near future, the province will direct the Department of Planning and Investment to review public investment capital sources to arrange and increase the scale of this road; at the same time, to assign the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Department of Construction, Phan Thiet city to build a model of planting trees and flowers to increase the landscape of the road. The construction of embankments to prevent coastal erosion and protect beaches for tourist areas in particular, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the relevant departments and agencies, on the basis of the provincial embankment construction plans, to proceed directly the survey and assessment with the priority for Phan Thiet area, preparing plan for expected investment works for the period of 2021-2025, submit to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration...
