Quality improvement for agro-forestry-fishery products

In order to ensure food safety, improve the quality of agro-forestry-fishery products,
contribute to protect the health and interests of the people; improve the
quality, value and competitiveness of the province's agricultural, forestry and
fishery products in domestic and international markets, the Provincial People's
Committee has issued a Plan to ensure food safety, improve the quality of
agricultural, forestry and fishery products in the agricultural sector in Binh
Thuan province in 2022.
Accordingly, the
Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to coordinate with the
Department of Industry and Trade to organize trade promotion, connection of production
- consumption of safe products and promotion of safe products in the province.
At the same time, to coordinate with the Department of Health to introduce and
connect the establishments participating in the supply chain of safe
agricultural and aquatic products with restaurants, collective kitchens,
schools...
The Provincial Public
Security to cooperate with the
Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to inspect, examine and
strictly handle organizations and individuals that commit violations in
production, storage, circulation and trading of banned substances, veterinary
drugs, animal feed, and plant protection drugs outside the list of permitted
use in cultivation, animal husbandry and aquaculture; using antibiotics and
banned chemicals in the process of preliminary processing, processing and
consumption of agro-forestry-fishery products.
People's Committees
of districts, towns and cities to push up the promotion of OCOP products;
deploy and build models of safe cultivation and husbandry, linkage chain, and
safe food supply chain in the areas.
