on COVID-19 situation 2021
(from 16h00, 02/02/2021 to 16h00, 03/02/2021)
I. EPIDEMIC SITUATION
1. In Vietnam
- Total: 1.891 cases / 46 provinces and cities, in which:
+ Recovered and
discharged: 1.460 cases.
+ Under
treatment: 396 cases.
+ 35 deaths.
Number of new
COVID-19 infections in the community from 27/01/2021 to 14h00, 03/02/2021 is 310,
of which, Hai Duong: 226, Quang Ninh: 38, Hanoi: 21, Gia Lai: 13, Hai Phong: 01, Bac Ninh: 03,
Hoa Binh: 02, Ho Chi Minh City: 01, Binh Duong: 04, Bac Giang: 01.
2. In Binh Thuan province
Up to now, Binh
Thuan province has gone through 327 consecutive days without any case of
COVID-19 infection.
Currently, there
are 05 cases isolated at the isolation facilities, including:
- 04 cases at the centralized isolation facilities (Ham Tan: 03, La Gi: 01).
- 01 case at the Southern Regional Generral Hospital.
There
are 178 cases isolated at homes, with stable health.
II. DEPLOYMENT OF DISEASE PREVENTION IN BINH THUAN
1. Deployment results from 16h00, 01/02/2021 to now:
1.1. Directions of Central Government, Provincial
Party Committee, Provincial People’s Committee, Steering Committee for COVID-19
Prevention and Control.
1.2. Professional works
- Number of
sample taken/tested from 16:00, 02/02/2021 to 16:00, 03/02/2021 is 90/101 (accumulated 365/376 samples).
Negative test
results: 90 samples (accumulated 365 samples), awaiting result: 11 samples.
- Number of citizens
return to Binh Thuan from 16h00 on 02/02//2021 to 16h00 on 03/02/2021: 70
cases.
Number of sample
tested 59 / number of sample taken 70 (accumulated 172 / 138 samples)
+ from Binh
Duong: 50 cases, 42 tested / 50 samples.
+ from Quảng
Ninh, Hai Duong: 13 cases, 10 tested / 13 samples.
+ from other
provinces: 07 cases / 07 samples.
2. Propaganda works
- Continuing to
propagate the situation of acute respiratory infections caused by Covid-19 in
the entire province on website of the Department of Health, Binh Thuan Health
information page, Newspapers, Provincial Radio and Television Station.
- Coordinating
with the Provincial Public Security Department continuously to monitor the
information on social networks to promptly rectify and handle any case of inaccuracy,
false or untrue information on the epidemic.
- Binh Thuan
Radio – Television Station updated, broadcasted 02 reports and 06 articles on
COVID-19 prevention and control in afternoon and evening news on both
television and radio channels, in particular: updates on COVID-19 in
03/02/2021; priority given to ensure people’s health (reflecting the provincial
online meeting on prevention of the epidemic); deployment of Dispatchs no
446/UBND-KGVXNV dated 02/02/2021 of the Provincial People’s Committee on
continuing to implement the urgent measures for COVID-19 prevention and
control; Tourism facilities to actively prevent and control the epidemic; New
directions of the Chairman of Binh Thuan PPC on COVID-19 prevention and control
on the morning of 03/2; the industrial zones to deploy COVID-19 prevention and
control; TV report on wearing masks in public places; TV report on honest
declaration for the safety TET holiday.
3. Deployment results of epidemic prevention by
departments, agencies, localities and the management of tourists in Binh Thuan
- Conducting the
Dispatch no 400/UBND-KGVXNV dated 29/01/2021 of the Provincial People’s
Committee on the deployment of urgent measures on COVID-19 prevention and
control.
- Strengthening
the communication, and monitoring health at home, conducting medical
declaration for cases coming back home from abroad and epidemic areas,
especially Hai Duong and Quang Ninh in order to have timely solutions to avoid
spreading the epidemic to the community.
III. WORKS TO BE CONTINUATED IN THE PREVENTION AND
CONTROL OF EPIDEMIC
1. Continuing to
implement the guiding documents of the Central Government, the Provincial Party
Committee, the Provincial People’s Committee, the Provincial Steering Committee
for COVID-19 prevention and control.
2. Implementing the
Announcement no 22/TB-VPCP dated 30/01/2021 of the Government Office on the
conclusion of Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc at the Standing Government’s
meeting on COVID-19 prevention and control; Directive no 05/CT-TTg dated 28/01/2021
of the Prime Minister on several urgent measures for COVID-19 prevention and
control; Telegram no 95/CD-BYT dated 28/01/2021 of the Ministry of Health on
investigation and handling of the COVID-19 outbreaks in the provinces and
cities; Telegram no 97/CD-BYT dated 29/01/2021 of the Ministry of Health on
strengthening drastically the measures on COVID-19 prevention in medical
examination and treatment establishments; Dispatch no 400/UBND-KGVXNV dated
29/01/2021 of the Provincial People’s Committee on the deployment of urgent
measures on COVID-19 prevention.
3. Reviewing, tracing,
managing and isolating cases of travelling to and from places with high risk of
infection (especially from the northern provinces, such as Quang Ninh and Hai
Duong) as guided by the National Steering Committee and the Ministry of Health; taking
samples for early detection of infection cases to avoid spreading the disease out
to the community, and requesting all of these cases to immediately conduct the medical
declaration for monitoring and updating health status.
4. Strengthening
the supervision and management of the concentrated isolation zones.
5. Strengthening
the implementation of COVID-19 prevention measures in the treatment facilities. Strengthening
the monitorization of cases with respiratory symptoms such as fever, cough,
difficul breathing, ... to detect early cases of infection that can enter the
hospital from the community.
6. Strengthening the
communication and guidance for the community to understand and comply with the
recommendations from the health authorities; strictly
implementing the preventive measures as 5K message (mask
– disinfection – distance – not gather – health declaration); Applicating
the information technology in investigating, tracing and managing COVID-19
infection chain.
7.
Monitoring closely the epidemic situation to proactively advice the Provincial
People’s Committee to handle any arising situation.
8.
Maintaing the medical examination at the train stations and bus stations in the
province./.
