QUICK REPORT

on COVID-19 situation 2021

(from 16h00, 06/02/2021 to 16h00, 07/02/2021)

 

I. EPIDEMIC SITUATION

1. In Vietnam

- Total: 1.985 cases / 49 provinces and cities, in which:

+ Recovered and discharged: 1.468 cases.

+ Under treatment: 482 cases.

+ 35 deaths.

According to the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control, as of 14h00 on 07/02/2021, Vietnam has 1.095 cases of COVID-19 infected domestically, in which, the number of new infections in the community from 27/01/2021 to now is 402 (Hai Duong: 293, Quang Ninh: 47, Hanoi: 23, Gia Lai: 19, Hai Phong: 01, Bac Ninh: 04, Hoa Binh: 02, Ho Chi Minh City: 02, Binh Duong: 06, Bac Giang: 01, Dien Bien: 03, Ha Giang: 01).

2. In Binh Thuan province

Up to now, Binh Thuan province has gone through 331 consecutive days without any case of COVID-19 infection.

Currently, there are 30 cases isolated at the isolation facilities, including:

  • 26 cases at the centralized isolation facilities (Tuy Phong: 07, Ham Tan: 04, La Gi: 04, Tanh Linh: 11).
  • 01 case at the Southern Regional Generral Hospital.
  • 03 cases at Ham Tan Medical Center

There are 245 cases isolated at homes, with stable health.

The 02 cases having close contact with COVID-19 patient on the bus from Ho Chi Minh city to Binh Dinh stoped for lunch at Nghia Binh restaurant (Km 18, Phu Loc, Ham Cuong, Ham Thuan Nam):

After receiving information according to the Announcement no 173/BC-TTYT dated 07/02/2021 of An Nhon Medical Center, Binh Dinh, the provincial Department of Health has instructed the Quick Response Team of Ham Thuan Nam Medical Center to investigate, monitor and take samples (at 12 o’clock on 07/02/2021). The number of people beeing supervised, managed and sampled for screening testes is 10. By 15h00 on 07/02/2021, Binh Dinh Department of Health inform that the above 02 cases had negative test results for the first time.

II. DEPLOYMENT OF DISEASE PREVENTION IN BINH THUAN

1. Deployment results from 16h00, 06/02/2021 to now:

1.1. Directions of Central Government, Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People’s Committee, Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.

- Dicision no 1053/QĐ-BYT dated 06/02/2021 of the Ministry of Health on issuing the Guidance on wearing masks at public places for COVID-19 prevention and control.

- Urgent Announcement no 442/SYT-NV dated 07/02/2021 of the Department of Health on the urgent alerts related to COVID-19 infected cases.

1.2. Professional works

- Number of sample taken from 16:00, 06/02/2021 to 16:00, 07/02/2021 is 16, accumulated 537 samples.

- Number of sample tested from 16:00, 06/02/2021 to 16:00, 07/02/2021 is 29, with negative results. Accumulation for tested samples: 529 with negative results.

- Number of citizens return to Binh Thuan from 16h00 on 06/02//2021 to 16h00 on 07/02/2021: 06 cases (accumulated 275 cases), including 01 samples with negative result, in particular:

+ from Binh Duong: 05 cases, 0 tested / 05 samples.

+ from other provinces: 01 cases, 0 tested / 01 samples.

- For the medical examination at bus stations, train station (from 14h00 on 06/02/2021 to 14h00 on 07/02/2021):

+ Bus stations: vehicle counts: 221 times,

+ Train station: train counts: 23 times,

+ Total people beeing checked and supervised: 1,785 (cumulative: 7,370), all cases have stable health.

2. Propaganda works

- Continuing to propagate the situation of acute respiratory infections caused by Covid-19 in the entire province on website of the Department of Health, Binh Thuan Health information page, Newspapers, Provincial Radio and Television Station.

- Coordinating with the Provincial Public Security Department continuously to monitor the information on social networks to promptly rectify and handle any case of inaccuracy, false or untrue information on the epidemic. The binhthuan.gov.vn, Binh Thuan Propaganda, Binh Than Hometown, Binh Thuan Information, the Youth Union for the provincial agencies and enterprises … and other private facebook pages: posting information of recording 05 new infected cases on the afternoon of 06/02 (including 04 cases infected domestically) at Bac Ninh, HCM city, Binh Duong, Quang Ninh, 04 new infected cases in Hai Duong, Gia Lai, subjects to be isolated when returning to Binh Thuan, 46 COVID-19 negative results of Binh Thuan.

- Binh Thuan Radio – Television Station updated, broadcasted 02 articles on COVID-19 prevention and control in afternoon and evening news on both television and radio channels, in particular: recommendations for safe welcoming tet honliday and updates on COVID-19; Announcements on COVID-19 of central government and province, list of hotlines.

3. Deployment results of epidemic prevention by departments, agencies, localities and the management of tourists in Binh Thuan

- Conducting the Dispatch no 400/UBND-KGVXNV dated 29/01/2021 of the Provincial People’s Committee on the deployment of urgent measures on COVID-19 prevention and control; Dispatch no 446/UBND-KGVXNV dated 02/02/2021 of the PPC on continuing to implement the urgent COVID-19 prevention and control measures, and Dispatch no 494CV-BCD dated 04/02/2021 of the Provincial Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control on the list of localities involving COVID-19 for applying the epidemic prevention measures.

- Strengthening the communication, and monitoring health at home, conducting medical declaration for cases coming back home from abroad and epidemic areas, especially Hai Duong and Quang Ninh, Binh Duong and Gia Lai in order to have timely solutions to avoid spreading the epidemic to the community.

III. WORKS TO BE CONTINUATED IN THE PREVENTION AND CONTROL OF EPIDEMIC

1. Continuing to implement the guiding documents of the Central Government, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People’s Committee, the Provincial Steering Committee for COVID-19 prevention and control, of which: Directive no 05/CT-TTg dated 28/01/2021 of the Prime Minister on several urgent measures for COVID-19 prevention and control; Announcement no 22/TB-VPCP dated 30/01/2021 of the Government Office on the conclusion of Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc at the Standing Government’s meeting on COVID-19 prevention and control; Telegram no 95/CD-BYT dated 28/01/2021 of the Ministry of Health on investigation and handling of the COVID-19 outbreaks in the provinces and cities; Dispatch no 400/UBND-KGVXNV dated 29/01/2021 of the Provincial People’s Committee on the deployment of urgent measures on COVID-19 prevention and control; Dispatch no 446/UBND-KGVXNV dated 02/02/2021 of the PPC on continuing to implement the urgent COVID-19 prevention and control measures, and Dispatch no 494CV-BCD dated 04/02/2021 of the Provincial Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control on the list of localities involving COVID-19 for applying the epidemic prevention measures.

2. Urgently reviewing, tracing, managing and isolating cases of travelling to and from places with high risk of infection (according to the list attached to the Dispatch no 509/CV-BCD dated 05/02/2021 of the Provincial Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control on the list of localities involving COVID-19 for applying the epidemic prevention measures); taking samples for early detection of infection cases to avoid spreading the disease out to the community.

3. Strengthening the supervision and management of the concentrated isolation zones.

4. Strengthening the implementation of COVID-19 prevention measures in the treatment facilities; the communication and guidance for the community to understand and comply with the recommendations from the health authorities; strictly implementing the preventive measures as 5K message (mask – disinfection – distance – not gather – health declaration); Applicating the information technology in investigating, tracing and managing COVID-19 infection chain.

5. Monitoring closely the epidemic situation to proactively advice the Provincial People’s Committee to handle any arising situation.

6. Maintaing the medical examination at the train stations and bus stations in the province; preparing the quarantine plans (ready in case of large number of F1 in the community) and plans for zoning, isolating at the localities./.
