QUICK REPORT

on COVID-19 situation 2021

(from 16h00, 07/02/2021 to 16h00, 08/02/2021)

 

I. EPIDEMIC SITUATION

1. In Vietnam

- Total: 2.005 cases / 49 provinces and cities, in which:

+ Recovered and discharged: 1.472 cases.

+ Under treatment: 498 cases.

+ 35 deaths.

According to the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control, as of 14h00 on 07/02/2021, Vietnam has 1.115 domestic infected cases of COVID-19, in which, the number of new infections in the community from 27/01/2021 to now is 422 (Hai Duong: 309, Quang Ninh: 47, Hanoi: 23, Gia Lai: 19, Hai Phong: 01, Bac Ninh: 04, Hoa Binh: 02, Ho Chi Minh City: 06, Binh Duong: 06, Bac Giang: 01, Dien Bien: 03, Ha Giang: 01).

2. In Binh Thuan province

Up to now, Binh Thuan province has gone through 332 consecutive days without any case of COVID-19 infection.

Currently, there are 30 cases isolated at the isolation facilities, including:

  • 28 cases at the centralized isolation facilities (Tuy Phong: 07, Ham Tan: 04, La Gi: 06, Tanh Linh: 11).
  • 01 case at the Southern Regional Generral Hospital.
  • 01 cases at Ham Tan Medical Center

There are 251 cases isolated at homes, with stable health.

II. DEPLOYMENT OF DISEASE PREVENTION IN BINH THUAN

1. Deployment results from 16h00, 06/02/2021 to now:

1.1. Directions of Central Government, Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People’s Committee, Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.

- Dispatch no 897/BYT-NV dated 07/02/2021 of the Ministry of Health on guiding the medical isolation for children under age 15.

- Urgent Announcement no 448/SYT-NV dated 08/02/2021 of the Department of Health on the urgent alerts related to COVID-19 patients 2002, 2003, 2004 at Ho Chi Minh city.

- Dispatch no 450/SYT-NV dated 08/02/2021 of the Department of Health on guiding the medical isolation for children under age 15.

1.2. Professional works

- Number of sample taken from 16:00, 07/02/2021 to 16:00, 08/02/2021 is 38, accumulated 575 samples.

- Number of sample tested from 16:00, 07/02/2021 to 16:00, 08/02/2021 is 26, with negative results. Accumulation for tested samples: 555 with negative results.

- Number of citizens return to Binh Thuan from 16h00 on 07/02//2021 to 16h00 on 08/02/2021, being taken samples and monitored: 06 (accumulated 281 cases), including 05 samples with negative result, in particular:

+ from Binh Duong: 04 cases, 04 tested / 04 samples.

+ from Ho Chi Minh: 02 cases, 01 tested / 02 samples.

- For the medical examination at bus stations, train station (from 14h00 on 07/02/2021 to 14h00 on 08/02/2021):

+ Bus stations: vehicle counts: 212 times,

+ Train station: train counts: 23 times,

+ Total people beeing checked and supervised: 2.006 (cumulative: 7,370), all cases have stable health.

- The quick response teams of the Provincial CDC are investigating and monitoring transporters Trung Nga, Hanh Café, Tam Hanh to confirm whether involving in the epidemic areas (Ma Lang quater, Nguyen Cu Trinh, District 1, Ho Chi Minh city) and the works on epidemic prevention of these transporters.

2. Propaganda works

- Continuing to propagate the situation of acute respiratory infections caused by Covid-19 in the entire province on website of the Department of Health, Binh Thuan Health information page, Newspapers, Provincial Radio and Television Station.

- Coordinating with the Provincial Public Security Department continuously to monitor the information on social networks to promptly rectify and handle any case of inaccuracy, false or untrue information on the epidemic. The binhthuan.gov.vn, Binh Thuan Propaganda, Binh Than Hometown, Binh Thuan Information, the Youth Union for the provincial agencies and enterprises … and other private facebook pages: posting information of recording 04 new infected cases on the morning of 08/02 at Ho Chi Minh city, 16 new cases (P 1986 – P 2001) are infected domestically at Hai Duong; Binh Thuan on 07/02/2021: 46 negative results to COVID-19; 02 cases of close contact to COVID-19 patient travelling through Binh Thuan had negative results; Binh Thuan is granted for COVID-19 confirmation.

3. Deployment results of epidemic prevention by departments, agencies, localities and the management of tourists in Binh Thuan

- Conducting the Dispatch no 400/UBND-KGVXNV dated 29/01/2021 of the Provincial People’s Committee on the deployment of urgent measures on COVID-19 prevention and control; Dispatch no 446/UBND-KGVXNV dated 02/02/2021 of the PPC on continuing to implement the urgent COVID-19 prevention and control measures, and Dispatch no 509/CV-BCD dated 05/02/2021 of the Provincial Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control on the list of localities involving COVID-19 for applying the epidemic prevention measures.

- Strengthening the communication, and monitoring health at home, conducting medical declaration for cases coming back home from abroad and epidemic areas, especially Hai Duong and Quang Ninh, Binh Duong and Gia Lai in order to have timely solutions to avoid spreading the epidemic to the community.

III. WORKS TO BE CONTINUATED IN THE PREVENTION AND CONTROL OF EPIDEMIC

1. Continuing to implement the guiding documents of the Central Government, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People’s Committee, the Provincial Steering Committee for COVID-19 prevention and control, of which: Directive no 05/CT-TTg dated 28/01/2021 of the Prime Minister on several urgent measures for COVID-19 prevention and control; Announcement no 22/TB-VPCP dated 30/01/2021 of the Government Office on the conclusion of Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc at the Standing Government’s meeting on COVID-19 prevention and control; Telegram no 95/CD-BYT dated 28/01/2021 of the Ministry of Health on investigation and handling of the COVID-19 outbreaks in the provinces and cities; Dispatch no 400/UBND-KGVXNV dated 29/01/2021 of the Provincial People’s Committee on the deployment of urgent measures on COVID-19 prevention and control; Dispatch no 446/UBND-KGVXNV dated 02/02/2021 of the PPC on continuing to implement the urgent COVID-19 prevention and control measures, and Dispatch no 509/CV-BCD dated 05/02/2021 of the Provincial Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control on the list of localities involving COVID-19 for applying the epidemic prevention measures.

2. Urgently reviewing, tracing, managing and isolating cases of travelling to and from places with high risk of infection (according to the list attached to the Dispatch no 509/CV-BCD dated 05/02/2021 of the Provincial Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control on the list of localities involving COVID-19 for applying the epidemic prevention measures); taking samples for early detection of infection cases to avoid spreading the disease out to the community.

3. Strengthening the supervision and management of the concentrated isolation zones.

4. Strengthening the implementation of COVID-19 prevention measures in the treatment facilities; the communication and guidance for the community to understand and comply with the recommendations from the health authorities; strictly implementing the preventive measures as 5K message (mask – disinfection – distance – not gather – health declaration); Applicating the information technology in investigating, tracing and managing COVID-19 infection chain.

5. Monitoring closely the epidemic situation to proactively advice the Provincial People’s Committee to handle any arising situation.

6. Maintaing the medical examination at the train stations and bus stations in the province; preparing the quarantine plans (ready in case of large number of F1 in the community) and plans for zoning, isolating at the localities./.
