I.
EPIDEMIC SITUATION
1.
Vietnam
- Total: 2.403 cases / 49 provinces and cities, in which:
+ Recovered and
discharged: 1.760 cases.
+ Under treatment: 608 cases.
+ 35 deaths.
According to the National
Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control, as of 14h00 on 24/02/2021
Vietnam has 1.504 domestic infected cases
of COVID-19, in which, new infections in the community since 27/01 are 811 cases. (Hai Duong: 627, Quang Ninh: 61, Hanoi: 35, Gia Lai: 27, Hai Phong: 04, Bac Ninh: 05,
Hoa Binh: 02, Ho Chi Minh City: 36, Binh Duong: 06, Bac Giang: 02, Dien Bien:
03, Ha Giang: 01, Hung Yen: 02).
2.
Binh Thuan province
Up to now, Binh Thuan province
has gone through 348
consecutive
days without any case of COVID-19 infection.
Currently, there are 35
cases isolated at the isolation facilities, including:
- 33 cases at the centralized isolation facilities (Tuy Phong: 07, La Gi: 02, Ham Tan: 02, Ham Thuan Bac: 07, Phan Thiet: 09, Ham Thuan Nam: 06).
- 02 cases at the Provincial General Hospital
161
cases have passed at home isolation time (accumulated
1.194 cases), 421 cases under health supervision and
monitoring at home with stable health.
II.
DEPLOYMENT OF DISEASE PREVENTION IN BINH THUAN
1.
Deployment results from 16h00, 23/02/2021 to now:

- Number of sample taken
from 16:00, 23/02/2021 to 16:00, 24/02/2021 is 412, accumulated 3.690
samples.
- Number of sample tested
from 16:00, 23/02/2021 to 16:00, 24/02/2021 is 235, with negative results. Accumulation for tested samples: 3.400 with negative results.
- Number of citizens
returned to Binh Thuan from 16h00 on 23/02/2021 to 16h00 on 24/02/2021, which
are sampled and monitored: 05 (accumulated 1.650 cases), with negative results,
in particular:
+ from Ho Chi Minh: 03
cases, 03 tested / 03 samples.
+ from Hanoi: 01 case, 01
tested / 01 sample.
+ from Gia Lai: 01 case,
01 tested / 01 sample.

For
the medical examination at bus stations, train station (from 14h00 on 23/02/2021
to 14h00 on 24/02/2021):
+ Bus stations: vehicle
counts: 127 times,
+ Train station: train
counts: 10 times,
+ Total people being
checked and supervised: 554 (accumulated: 25.325), all cases have stable
health.
2.
Propaganda works
- Continuing to propagate
the situation of acute respiratory infections caused by COVID-19 in the entire
province on website of the Department of Health, Binh Thuan Health information
page, Newspapers, Provincial Radio and Television Station.
- Coordinating with the
Provincial Public Security Department continuously to monitor the information
on social networks to promptly rectify and handle any case of inaccuracy, false
or untrue information on the epidemic. The binhthuan.gov.vn, Binh Thuan
Propaganda, Binh Than Hometown, Binh Thuan Information, the Youth Union for the
provincial agencies and enterprises … and other private Facebook pages: posting
on Binh Thuan: 235 samples are negative to SARS -CoV-2; Vietnam will proceed free
COVID vaccination for people.
3.
Deployment results of epidemic prevention by departments, agencies, and localities
- Conducting the Dispatch
no 91/CV-TU dated 09/02/2021 of Binh Thuan Party Committee on strengthening
COVID-19 prevention and control in the new situation; Dispatch no
400/UBND-KGVXNV dated 29/01/2021 of the Provincial People’s Committee on the
deployment of urgent measures on COVID-19 prevention and control; Dispatch no
446/UBND-KGVXNV dated 02/02/2021 of the PPC on continuing to implement the
urgent COVID-19 prevention and control measures, Dispatch no 594/UBND-KGVXNV
dated 19/02/2021 of the PPC on strengthening the supervision of people coming
to Binh Thuan from those provinces associated to the epidemic and Dispatch no 552/CV-BCD
dated 23/02/2021 of the Provincial Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention
and Control on updating the list of localities involving COVID-19 for applying
the epidemic prevention measures
- Carrying out the
monitoring and sampling of SARS-CoV-2 tests for citizens preparing to enlist.
III.
WORKS TO BE CONTINUATED IN THE PREVENTION AND CONTROL OF EPIDEMIC
1. Continuing to
implement the guidance of the Central Government, the Provincial Party
Committee, the Provincial People’s Committee, the Provincial Steering Committee
for COVID-19 prevention and control, of which: Directive no 05/CT-TTg dated
28/01/2021 of the Prime Minister on several urgent measures for COVID-19
prevention and control; Announcement no 26/TB-VPCP dated 08/02/2021 of the
Government Office on the conclusion of Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc at the
Standing Government’s meeting on COVID-19 prevention and control; Telegram no 95/CD-BYT dated 28/01/2021 of the
Ministry of Health on investigation and handling of the COVID-19 outbreaks in
the provinces and cities; Dispatch no 91/CV-TU dated 09/02/2021 of Binh Thuan
Party Committee on strengthening COVID-19 prevention and control in the new
situation; Dispatch no 400/UBND-KGVXNV dated 29/01/2021 of the Provincial
People’s Committee on the deployment of urgent measures on COVID-19 prevention
and control; Dispatch no 446/UBND-KGVXNV dated 02/02/2021 of the PPC on
continuing to implement the urgent COVID-19 prevention and control measures, Dispatch
no 523/UBND-KGVXNV dated 08/02/2021; Dispatch no 594/UBND-KGVXNV dated
19/02/2021 of the PPC on strengthening the supervision of people coming to Binh
Thuan from those provinces associated to the epidemic and Dispatch no 552/CV-BCD
dated 23/02/2021 of the Provincial Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention
and Control on updating the list of localities involving COVID-19 for applying
the epidemic prevention measures.
2. Urgently reviewing,
tracing, managing and isolating cases of travelling to and from places with
high risk of infection (according to the
list attached to the Dispatch
no 552/CV-BCD dated 23/02/2021 of the Provincial Steering Committee for
COVID-19 Prevention and Control on updating the list of localities involving
COVID-19 for applying the epidemic prevention measures); taking
samples for early detection of infection cases to avoid spreading the disease out
to the community.
3. Strengthening the
supervision and management of the concentrated isolation zones.
4. Strengthening
the implementation of COVID-19 prevention measures in the treatment facilities;
the communication and guidance for the community to understand and comply with
the recommendations from the health authorities; strictly
implementing the preventive measures as 5K message (mask
– disinfection – distance – not gather – health declaration).
5. Monitoring closely the
epidemic situation to proactively advice the Provincial People’s Committee to handle
any arising situation.
6. The agencies and
localities continue to conduct the medical declaration by QR CODE to all
cardres, officials, employees. The Department of Transport, the Department of
Agriculture and Rural Development, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism
to remind the contractors of key projects; the Industrial Zones Authority, the
Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs to remind the businesses in
the industrial zones, the thermal power center, ect… to implement strictly the
monitoring and medical declaration for employees, especially those people from
other provinces returning to work after Tet holiday and other subjects at risk.
7.
Maintaining the medical examination at the train stations and bus stations in
the province; preparing the quarantine plans (ready in case of large number of
F1 in the community) and plans for zoning, isolating at the localities.
8.
Continuing to carry out the monitoring and sampling of SARS-CoV-2 tests for
citizens preparing to enlist./.
