Specialized stores, convenience stores and markets have proactively sourced goods to ensure quality and food safety to supply to the market; the distribution and retail businesses continue to offer many promotional programs to attract and stimulate consumer demand. The market does not have the phenomenon of speculation, hoarding, shortage of goods, excessive price increases, causing market instability. Listing prices and selling at listed prices are seriously implemented by business establishments.

The situation of smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods in the province's coastal areas is well controlled, the production and business activities at sea have not yet recorded any suspicious issues. However, on the mainland, the situation of smuggling, trade fraud, production and sale of counterfeit and banned goods and infringement of intellectual property rights is still complicated, especially the trading of unknown origin goods, banned goods such as firecrackers, smuggled tobaccos, illegal mining, transportation, and storage of minerals occur continuously in many localities... with sophisticated methods and tricks that are difficult to detect, fight, and handle.

As a result, in September 2023, the competent forces inspected and detected 378 violations/436 violators, the number of handled cases was 335 cases; of which, 231 cases/236 subjects were sanctioned for administrative violations, prosecuted 89 cases/132 suspects, handled other violations of 15 cases/16 subjects, and continuing to investigate and handle 43 cases. The total amount of fines and payments to the State budget is 31,067.465 million VND.

In the coming time, the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Smuggling, Trade Fraud and Counterfeit Goods will continue to thoroughly grasp and seriously and effectively implement Resolutions, Directives, Official Telegrams, Plans and directive guidances of the Government, the Prime Minister, and the Provincial People's Committee on the prevention and combat of smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods. Fight, prevent and reverse the deterioration of political ideology, ethics, and lifestyle; preventing and combating corruption, negativity, smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods right within the functional forces to build up a clean and strong internal structure.

Strengthen training and fostering knowledge and application of science and technology in combating smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods. Perform well the professional work to ensure timely detection, prevention and handling of acts of smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods, especially items that affect consumer health.

Continue to promote propaganda work so that organizations, individuals and consumers in the province are clearly aware of the harmful effects of smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods; timely and accurately reflect the situation and results of anti-smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods; negative manifestations and inadequacies in public service activities of functional forces; at the same time, perform well the propagation of policies and laws, mobilizing people not to participate in or assist in acts of smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods; strengthen coordination, support, and provide information on smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods for competent authorities to handle.

Propose amendments and supplements to legal documents that are no longer appropriate related to the fight against smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods, especially amending and supplementing loopholes in regulations, mechanisms and policies in the specialized field to support functional forces improving the effectiveness of anti-smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods.
