Several border gates in Lang Son Province restore their normal customs clearance time

The Department of Industry and Trade has just issued an express letter to notify
the situation at the border gates in Lang Son Province. Accordingly, from April
30, 2020, restoring the normal clearance time at the pair of Tan Thanh
(Vietnam) - Po Chai (China) border gate and adjusting the clearance time in the
morning from 08:00. - 11:00, afternoon from 12:00 - 16:00 (Hanoi time).
At
the same time, in order to solve early the export and import demands of the two
sides, and to reduce the number of freight trucks stuck at the border gates,
especially agricultural products and fruits; from May 1, 2020, restoring
customs clearance at the pair of Tan Thanh (Vietnam) - Po Chai (China) border
gate on weekends and public holidays, morning from 08:00 to 11: 00, afternoon
from 12:00 - 16:00 (Hanoi time) (instead of 06/5/2020 as announced previously).
In
order to ensure the smooth exportation of agricultural products and fruits of
the province to the Chinese market, the Department of Industry and Trade informs
the situation at the border gates in Lang Son province to enterprises and
cooperative businesses in producing, trading and exporting agricultural
products and fruits to the Chinese market for their awareness to regulate
actively and transport goods to border gates in Lang Son province reasonably.
In the coming time, the Department of Industry and Trade will continue to
monitor and discuss regularly with the Department of Industry and Trade of the
northern border provinces to capture the situation and coordinate with relevant
units to notify and recommend to enterprises, cooperative businesses, etc…
about the import and export situation through the Northern border gates.
