Should not to export agricultural products via border gates in Lang Son

According to the Department of Industry and Trade, by the morning of 11/02/2022,
the total number of trucks waiting for export at 03 border gates Huu Nghi, Tan
Thanh and Chi Ma continued to increase to 1,646 vehicles, of which: 1,390
vehicles carrying fresh fruits, accounting for nearly 85% of the total number
of trucks waiting for export. With the current increasing in the number of
fruit-carrying vehicles, it is likely that agricultural products and fresh
fruits will be stuck of waiting for export at parking lots in Lang Son
province. Therefore, the Department of Industry and Trade of Lang Son province
temporarily stopped receiving vehicles carrying fresh fruits to the border gate
of Lang Son province to export to China. The implementation period is from
February 16, 2022 to the end of February 25, 2022.
In order to ensure
export activities, especially agricultural products, fresh fruits as well as
Binh Thuan dragon fruit through Bac Luan II border gate, Mong Cai city, Quang
Ninh province as well as the northern border gates to operate smoothly,
achieving high efficiency, minimizing the situation of vehicles carrying goods
waiting for export to be congested, at the same time ensuring COVID-19
prevention and control, the Department of Industry and Trade requests the
Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the People's Committees of
districts, towns and cities, the Provincial Management Board of Industrial
Parks, the Provincial Cooperative Alliance, and the Associations to urgently
notify the export situation to the businesses and cooperatives that are members
with export activities to the Chinese market via border gates in Lang Song
province as well as northern border gates for preparing plan to transport goods
suitably to the border gate and to ensure the prevention and control of COVID-19
according to regulations.
