Solutions to export agricultural products of the province via border gates

In order to ensure the export of agricultural products and fruits of the
province via border gates conveniently, without congestion of vehicles and
goods, causing damages to businesses and farmers, the Department Industry and
Trade proposes the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to review
the production situation and provide specific instructions for localities to
develop reasonable plans for farming and producing agricultural products in
line with market demand and consumption forecasts, avoiding the situation of
local excess crisis, and deep dropping in prices. In which, the priority should
be given to the research and application of high technology in preservation and
processing, encouraging enterprises to increase investment in renewal of
equipment and production lines with advanced, modern and synchronous
technologies, product diversification, and deep processing enhancement.
Encouraging businesses to invest in association with farmers in the value
chain; continuing the issuance of planting area codes in the province according
to the route and guidance of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
The People's Committees
of districts, towns and cities, the Management Board of the Provincial
Industrial Zones, the Provincial Cooperative Alliance, Binh Thuan Dragon Fruit
Association should regularly coordinate with the Department of Industry and
Trade to update the delivery and receipt of goods at the northern border gates
to promptly notify enterprises, cooperatives those produce, trade and export
agricultural products to take their initiative to develop production and
business plans; at the same time, coordinating in regulating and transporting
goods reasonably to the border gates.
Enterprises and
cooperatives need to actively research, study and update the situation of
export market requirements; paying attention to the implementation of export
transactions in accordance with the international practices by foreign trade
contracts; contacting partners to negotiate to gradually switch to official
trading forms. At the same time, actively participating in domestic and foreign
trade promotion in the near future (online form) to connect trade, introduce
products, seek customers and distribution channels in order to develop market
for agricultural products of the province.
