Soon to support people damaged by natural disasters in Duc Linh district

Currently, due to the influence of prolonged heavy rains, flooding and
tornadoes have caused great damage to houses, properties and agricultural
production of some households in communes in Duc Linh district, especially in
communes: Da Kai, Sung Nhon, Me Pu, Nam Chinh, Tra Tan and Dong Ha.
Agricultural damage
area of communes in Duc Linh district is 342.063 ha, of which the loss on rice
is 232.833 ha; crops is 88.33 ha; industrial and fruit crops is 20.9 ha. Regarding
housing, the prolonged heavy rains and tornadoes flew off the roofs and
completely collapsed 12 houses.
On this situation,
the People's Committee of Duc Linh district proposes the Provincial Steering
Committee for Disaster Prevention and Control, Search and Rescue, the
Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of the province, the Department
of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of the province to consider and
advise the Provincial People's Committee soon to support the people in the
damaged communes of Duc Linh to overcome the consequences caused by natural
disasters in order to restore production and stabilize their lives.
