Strengthening removal of difficulties and obstacles for businesses and investors

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has just issued a written
request to strengthen the removal of difficulties and obstacles for businesses
and investors.
Accordingly,
on July 3, 2023, the Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 1279/QD-UBND
on the establishment of a special working team on removing difficulties and
obstacles, effectively supporting businesses, investors, investment projects in
Binh Thuan province. In order to continue to improve the investment environment
and promote the quick and timely resolution and removal of difficulties and
problems of enterprises and investors in the process of production and business
activities and project implementation in the province, the Chairman of the
Provincial People's Committee assigns the Department of Planning and Investment
(the standing body of the working team) to receive the difficulties and
problems of the investors and enterprises; on the basis of classification in
terms of fields and competence, to chair over and coordinate with relevant
members of the working team to consider and settle proposals according to
competence and regulations.
For
cases beyond its competence, before the 10th of every month, the
Department of Planning and Investment shall synthesize and coordinate with the
Office of the Provincial People's Committee to advise and propose the working team
to report to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and
settlement.
The
Department of Home Affairs shall cooperate with the Department of Planning and
Investment to continue monitoring and supervising the performance of tasks under
Official Letter No. 3326/UBND-KT dated October 4, 2022 of the Provincial People's
Committee; at the same time, advising the Provincial People's Committee to
include the removal of difficulties for businesses and investors into the
process of completion evaluation of year-end tasks of the units.
