Strengthening the inspection, supervision and handling violations of vehicles transporting goods

(binhthuan.gov.vn) Recently, the
Ministry of Transport and the Directorate for Roads of Vietnam have directed
the nationwide implementation of the issuance of vehicle identification paper
with QR Code for going on the "green channel" to the vehicles
transporting essential goods travelling from, to, through areas under social
distancing according to Directive no 16/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister in order
to ensure the convenient circulation and supply of goods to the people, and
serving the production and business.
Inspectors of the Department of
Transport shall coordinate with relevant departments and agencies to do well on
monitoring and post-inspecting vehicles that are granted a vehicle
identification paper with QR Code for going on the "green channel";
to focus on checking the vehicle's operation route on the data update system
from the cruise monitoring device to strictly handle violating vehicles. The
Division of Transport, Vehicles and Drivers Management must check closely and
ensure adequate information as prescribed by the Directorate for Roads of
Vietnam before issuing the vehicle identification certificate with a QR Code
for going on the "green channel" to the vehicles transporting of
goods.
