Strengthening the management and inspection for the safety of people and visitors at beaches, swimming pools and recreational sports and activities at sea

(binhthuan.gov.vn) Over the past time, the warning and rescue work
at resorts, tourist spots, beaches, sports activities at the sea, swimming
pools have been more and more concerned by agencies, units, localities and
businesses, and joined hands to ensure that recreational activities and sports
at sea are safe to meet the needs of people and tourists.
As forecasted, the
number of tourists coming to Binh Thuan during the holidays of April 30 and May
1 will be very crowded. Therefore, in order to ensure the safety of people and
visitors, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has sent a written
request to the Culture and Information Divisions of the localities to
effectively deploy the works according to assigned functions and tasks;
enhancing roles and responsibilities in management, strengthening the checking
and reminding works, and promptly correcting tourism and sea sports businesses
in strictly observing the legal provisions related to the safety of people and
visitors when participating in activities at their premises.
Regularly giving
recommendations to visitors with cardiovascular, blood pressure, respiratory
diseases and people who use stimulants, alcohols should not go swimming nor
participate in sea sports. Whenever bad weather, it is necessary to immediately
give warnings to tourists to stop swimming and sea sports.
