Strengthening the management and protection of beaches at tourist areas and destinations in the province

the situation of facilities and households using encroachment on the beach has
been quite messy, causing disorder and loss beauty of the beach, the
situation of illigal street vendors, water canoes ... outbreak with more
severity; especially in the area of Ham Tien and Long Son - Suoi Nuoc, Phan
Thiet city, and the area of Cam Binh, Gi town. In order to enhance the
management and protection of the beaches in tourist areas and
destinations in the province, ensuring the recreational and sport activities
of tourists not affect the activities of local people
and other marine economic activities, The Chairman of the Provincial People's
Committee has just issued a written request to the People's Committees of
districts, towns and cities to strictly direct the
relevant divisions and units to well perform the management of the area, so as
not to cause the situation of tourist business establishments arbitrarily
encroach on building and using beaches in contravention of
regulations; prohibiting the activities of street vendors, water
canoes ... causing disorder and loss beauty of the beach. Chairing and coordinating with other
relevant departments and agencies to reagularly inspect and supervise the
observance of law provisions related to the coastal protection in their
respective localities, and taking serious measures in case of detecting
violations.
The
Chairman of the provincial People's Committee also requested the Department of
Culture, Sports and Tourism to continue to disseminate the Decision
No. 51/2013/QD-UBND dated November 19, 2013 of the Provincial People's
Committee regulating on the management of areas for sea recreational
sports and activities in Binh Thuan province; Decision No.
04/2020/QD-UBND dated January 22, 2020 of the Provincial People's Committee on regulating
the management of tourist resorts, tourist spots and tourist beaches in Binh
Thuan province; strengthening propaganda and guidance for owners of coastal
tourism business establishments to strictly comply with the provisions of law
related to the protection of the marine and coastal environment, building up a
friendly tourism environment, creating a beautiful
image in the hearts of people and tourists ...
