Strengthening the management of production unit code and packing house code in the province

Under the direction of the Plant Protection Department, by 2022, Binh Thuan
Plant Protection and Cultivation Sub-Department must conduct 538 production
unit codes and 279 packing house codes based on each market. In which, the number
of production unit code for planting dragon fruit area exported to the Korean
market is 120; Australia is 139 codes; New Zealand is 139 codes; United States
is 62 codes; China is 78 codes. The number of packing house code for export to
the Chinese market is 268 codes; Korea, Japan, Australia, United States, New
Zealand is 11 codes.
However, due to the
increased demand for production unit code and packing house code, up to now,
the Provincial Sub-department of Cultivation and Plant Protection has issued
613 newly production unit codes and packing house codes, including 611 codes
for dragon fruit planting area, 02 codes for durian planting area and 302 codes
for packing houses. Specifically, the number of production unit code exported
to the Korean market is 129; Australia is 157 codes; New Zealand is 157 codes;
United States is 72 codes; Japan 7 codes; China is 91 codes. The number of
packing house codes exported to the Chinese market is 279; Korea, Japan,
Australia, United States, New Zealand is 23 codes.
In order to
strengthen the management of production unit code and packing house code in the
province, the Provincial Sub-Department of Cultivation and Plant Protection will
continue to make announcements and instructions for relevant organizations and
individuals on the management of the production unit code and packing house
code in the province. Notifying new information and guiding units to comply
with the requests of the Plant Protection Department and exporters.
