Strengthening the prevention and control of African swine fever

(binhthuan.gov.vn) In order to prevent and control the African swine
fever epidemic in the province, the Department of Agriculture and Rural
Development proposes the departments, agencies and People's Committees of
districts, towns and cities to strengthen the prevention and control of African
swine fever.
Accordingly, the
People's Committees of districts, towns and cities shall promote the roles and
responsibilities of the leaders in epidemic prevention and control; controlling
the epidemic under the direction of the Government and the provincial People's
Committee to avoid being subjective and too neglected to let the disease recur
and spread out widely. Directing the strengthening of inspection and
supervision of African swine fever in the area under management; promptly
detecting and reporting the epidemic situation and organizing the
implementation of solutions to prevent and control the disease under the ASF
prevention and control plan in Binh Thuan province in the period of 2020 -
2025./.
