Strengthening the prevention and control of dengue fever

(binhthuan.gov.vn) Facing the
complicated situation of the dengue epidemic, the Department of Health has directed
units to urgently strengthen the prevention and control of dengue fever.
Accordingly, the Department of Health
requests the Provincial Center for Disease Control; Medical centers of
districts, towns and cities, basing on the plan for activities to respond to
the 12th ASEAN Day of Dengue Prevention and Control of the province, to prepare
plans and organize the activities in response to the 12th ASEAN Day of Dengue
Prevention and Control (June 15, 2022). Actively communicating on dengue fever
prevention before the epidemic season and implementing practically the activities
to bring into play the role of authorities, departments, agencies, mass
organizations and people in participating actively in prevention and control of
dengue fever as well as ensuring the safety measures for COVID-19 prevention
and control.
The Provincial General Hospital in
collaboration with the Provincial Center for Disease Control; the Regional
general hospitals, An Phuoc and Tam Phuc General Hospitals in collaboration
with the local medical centers to strengthen the collection of samples for
Dengue fever patients and send them to the Provincial Center for Disease
Control.
Promptly updating and reporting the
epidemic situation via infectious disease reporting software according to the
provisions of Circular No. 54/2015/TT-BYT dated December 28, 2015 of the
Ministry of Health./.
